PWGA Team Championship
The Pacific Women's Golf Association of Northern California held it's annual California Championship on September 14th and 15th at Pheasant Run Golf Course in Chowchilla. Our Indian Creek WGC team of Nancy Bitner, Julia Lopez, Mary Ann Horton, and Barbara Thomas played very well against the field of 136 other players. It was a hard fought battle with the Indian Creek team capturing fifth place!! Congratulations Team!! Way to go!!

Invitational Golf Tournament
What a great Invitational!
What a great Invitational! Everyone looked like they came from Disneyland, which was the theme this year. All participants had such a great time playing golf. Our new PGA Golf Professional, Mark Hatala was especially busy on the 9th hole raising money for our Susan G. Komen beneficiary. He had raised $300.00 dollars when all was said and done. Thank you Mark, who by the way takes time out of his busy schedule to play with a different group of ladies each week. Take advantage of his expertise when he joins your group!! |

Valentine's Day Golf
If you missed the party, you missed a great day. We had more than 70 players and the best golf weather. What a lot of fun. Many thanks to the social club, Nancy Bitner, Diane Watts Julie Lopez, Rita Chabrajez, Sue Kort, our Tournament Chairperson. Also all the girls that helped with decorating on Tuesday afternoon. I probably forgot someone's name, sorry. |
